MOTORS 4 MINDS
Motors 4 Minds is a 501c3 charitable organization established to raise awareness of devastating brain diseases and to raise funds to help find cures for them. These include Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and Dementia. Our fund-raising activities revolve around popular automotive events that include classic and special interest car shows, road rallies, organized scenic back road drives and very popular “Cars N Coffee”. Most families in the United States have either delt with or know someone who is suffering from some form of brain disease.
Motors 4 Minds is the brain child of Bill Faison, Bill was a Co-Founder of the Sandhills Motoring Festival and a Past President of the Triangle Section of
the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. Having been born and raised in Detroit, Bill has been an automotive enthusiast as long as he can remember. At age 7 he started turning wrenches on 1949 Packard that his dad was restoring and rebuilt his first engine at 13. His passion for German engineered car started in 1969 when he bought a 1966 VW Type 2 Westfalia camper and has continued to grow from there.
